How to format a number

In this video, you will learn how to format a number in Centrldesk.


Steps:

  1. First, we select a flow in our workspace and click on the edit icon.
  2. The flow view is displayed.
  3. To store logic in Centrldesk at specific locations, we either click on the Connect Data button of the respective flow component or create a Custom Logic by dragging and dropping the General Library into the Flow Editor and then selecting the Custom Logic element.
  4. The logic editor is displayed.
  5. In this video, we will learn how to format numbers for further processing.
  6. First, we add a Value block with a type number from the General Library to our logic using drag and drop.
  7. To format the number we also add a Format Number block.
  8. A dialog for selecting the formatting will open.
  9. In the lower list, you can choose your locale. In the upper list, you are offered the available number of formatting options for selection. Select the desired option and then confirm with OK.
  10. If you connect the Value block with the Format Number block via drag & drop, you will see the configured number format in the output.

    The formatted number value can now be used for further processing.
